What happens if I exceed my monthly prompt quota?

Great question! If you hit your monthly limit, you'll see a friendly notification. You can still view and export your existing sites, but builds and edits are paused until your quota resets on the first of the month. Want more prompts mid-month? You can purchase a one-time top-up in your account settings, no need to upgrade tiers.

Can I export my site's HTML and self-host it?

Absolutely! All tiers can export their generated HTML at any time. Your site is yours. We provide BuildABear hosting for convenience, but we don't lock you in—grab the code, host it anywhere (GitHub Pages, Vercel, your own server), and keep building independently. Grizzly and above get a one-click download for all your sites.

How does billing work if I sign up mid-month?

We bill you for the full month on the day you subscribe, then every 30 days after that. If you upgrade partway through your billing cycle (e.g., Hatchling → Grizzly), we charge only the pro-rated difference and align your renewal date to your original subscription day. Full transparency, no surprises—your invoice is emailed immediately and visible in your dashboard.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yep! No long-term contracts. Cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Your sites stay live through the end of the billing period. If you change your mind, you can reactivate within 30 days to pick up where you left off.

What's the difference between Standard and Priority model tiers?

The Priority model (Grizzly tier) uses our latest, fastest LLM, plus it has queue priority—your builds process first. It also tends to produce richer, more semantically accurate HTML and handles complex requests better. Standard model works great for straightforward sites, but if you're building frequently or tackling ambitious designs, Priority is worth it.
